‘Ag-gag’ laws could stop revelations of animal abuse

The release of ‘Lucent’ revealed the sad and painful lives led by many factory farmed animals in Australia. These animals are often contained in small metal cages and will never go outdoors, feel grass under their feet or raise their own young. It also pushed the rise of ‘ag-gag’ laws, which seek to stop revelations of animal abuse from being made public, into the spotlight. AMELIA McMAHON reports.
