Will you stand up for a woman’s right to live in safety?

In Australia, at least one woman is killed per week as a result of intimate partner violence. But the victims of domestic violence against women are not just statistics: they are wives, sisters, mothers, daughters, and friends. Male-led campaign White Ribbon asks Australians to take a stand in ending men’s violence against women on White Ribbon Day. In Adelaide, members of the community will march on Saturday, November 28th, with a mission to make women’s safety a man’s issue too, ALYSSIA TENNANT reports.
