After six weeks of attracting tourists and artists from around the world, The Garden of Unearthly Delights has closed for 2013. Over the past 32 days, it is estimated that 25 to 40,000 people have passed through the Garden each day, writes SARAH HANCOCK.
With top tier sporting events happening week after week in April, and the government rearranging the start times of the AFL Crows vs Geelong home game and Goodwood Handicap Horserace to allow audiences to attend both events, Adelaide could rapidly be on the way to challenging Melbourne as the sporting capital of Australia.
